Feel at home in our brand new duplex in a renovated old family house. This modern-industrial duplex has a cozy living room, sofa-bed, kitchen, workspace, WiFi and a mezzanine with queen size bed. The unit opens to a private balcony for outdoor siting. This loft is located in a newly renovated building with beautiful local design and architecture. We took care of every detail so you feel in a unique place and will try to give you the best experience and service. We want you to feel this places as your home away from home. It is perfect for a couple or a group of 3 friends, looking for a centrally located place in Medellin, in what could be the best area in terms of urban planning in the whole city. It is easily accessible by biking and public transport. The metro station is a 15 minute walk away. There is a secure front door to the house and another private entrance to the loft. You will have access to a fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, coffee maker, refrigerator, pots, utensils); sofa, coffee table & chair; and dinning table & chairs that you can use both inside or outside in the private balcony, which is inside of the apartment and is located next to the living room, making this a cozy space where to hang out. The bedroom is located on the mezzanine and can be accessed through wooden loft stairs. It has a queen-size bed, two nightstands with their own reading light and a portable quiet fan in case it gets warm. On the mezzanine there is also a small sitting area for hanging out, read or work. High speed internet (WiFi) is available on site (40Mbps download / 6 Mbps upload). Guests will have access to a sunny rooftop to enjoy the Medellin sun and breeze. You will find this place as an oasis in the middle of the city. Please note that this loft is in a second floor with access only through stairs and that the bedroom in the mezzanine is accessed through wooden loft stairs. Also, Medellín is a large, lively city. It can be noisy. It is also in the tropics and we get lots of sunshine. If you are sensitive to noise or light, we suggest that you bring earplugs and a sleep mask.
